Uniforms and Scout Closet

Uniforms:

Pack 214 asks all scouts to wear the official Scouting America Cub Scout uniform from the waste up: hat, neckerchief, and uniform with patches.  Scouts may wear the official uniform pants/shorts or other appropriate shorts, pants, or jeans and closed toed shoes.

Cub Scout uniforms serve a dual purpose, demonstrating that a Scout is part of a team and showing individual achievement (Scouts wear the badges they’ve earned). Wearing the uniform to meetings and activities also encourages a neat appearance,  and good behavior.

Scout Closet:

Before you head off to the Scout Shop, feel free to check out our uniform closet with a limited amount of gently used scout uniform items available. These items are donated by families as scouts grow, advance in rank, or have crossed over to a Troop.

To request items from the Scout Closet, please contact the committee chair or another Pack leader.

Scout Shop:

Can’t find what you need in our Scout Closet, head over to the Mecklenburg County Council Scout Shop for your other uniform items, handbooks, and more. They can also get everything sewn on for you!
