What a great day of racing we had on Saturday. We hope everyone enjoyed it! Congratulations to all of our Pinewood Derby Winners, and a big thank you too all our families and friends who took part in the City BBQ fundraiser!

Den Meetings tonight at MUMC!

We will NOT be gathering in the commons area prior to the den meetings this evening. Please report directly to your Den's meeting room at 6:30pm.

Pancake Dinner tonight

Our Charter organization. Matthews United Methodist Church's Youth Ministry is hosting a Pancake Supper tonight, March 5th in The Commons, as we celebrate Shrove Tuesday – Mardi Gras before the beginning of Lent on Ash Wednesday. They will be serving dinner from 5:30PM – 7:30PM, all are welcome, so feel free to bring a friend or TWO! Carry Out Boxes will also be available, if you cannot stay for dinner.
The menu will include: pancakes (regular & gluten free), sausage, bacon, fresh fruit, and a pancake topping bar!
This meal is by donation only and all funds raised will be utilized to help youth and college students' participating in Summer Mission Trips. Checks or cash at the door-Please make checks payable to Matthews UMC.

Samaritan's Feet Volunteer Opportunity
Is EXTREMELY grateful for your generous donations of shoe for children both here and abroad. Join us on Saturday March 23rd from 9:30-12:00 at the Samaritan's Feet warehouse to see how the operation works and be a part of the process of sending our donations to those children.
Volunteers must be 8 years or older. Families are welcome! We have 15 slots available for this volunteer opportunity with hopefully more to come.

Matthews Food Truck Fridays & Concert Series

A variety of food trucks will roll into downtown Matthews on the second and fourth Fridays, April through September. Get dinner from up to 10 eclectic area trucks, relax in the park, listen to good music, let the kids play in bounce houses, and enjoy the downtown vibe!
